October 30, 2017 – Miami, FL, – We are extremely happy to announce that together with our friends, Enrique J. Fernandez, P.A., Debowsky Design Group, Frontier Spine & Health Care, Scheckner & Hetenyi, PL and Vasquez de Lara Law Group, Trembly Law raised over $7,000 for Hurricane Maria Relief in Puerto Rico!
The purpose of the fundraiser was to harness the passion for college football and use it for a little rivalry fundraiser. Donations poured in for supporters of both the University of Miami Hurricanes and the Florida State Seminoles. The added kicker for the Main Sponsors was that the losing team matched the donations made by winning team supporters, up to $1,000.00 total, and the winning team matched 50% of the donations from the losing team supporters, up to $500.00 total.
The fundraiser initially had a goal of $2,000 but exceeded that amount in just 24 hours. All funds will be donated to the Hispanic Federation (Hispanico), which is dedicated towards helping those Puerto Ricans still facing hardship after Hurricane Maria.
