Job Requirements

Position Overview

Responsible for the company’s financial records. Plan, direct and supervise the corporation’s financial affairs, including; running reports, billing, A/R, cash flow projections, budgets and budget variances, and will essentially oversee most financial aspects of the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees general accounting, credit, collections and business planning activities
  • Develops and creates custom reporting for all employees of the Firm (burn rates, billing hourly rates, collection rates, usage rates, and employment labor ratios).
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
  • Direct preparation of company forecasts and budget
  • Support the CFO in engaging the Leadership Team around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery
  • Create billing systems, manage trust account balances, collect payments, ensure clients all have forward balances
  • Prepares month end financial statements
  • Ensures all financial reports are prepared accurately as required to comply with external reporting requirements
  • Assists with preparing annual budgets, financial modeling, and projections
  • Supports all levels of the organization in budget preparation through training and providing information when appropriate
  • Monitors budgets throughout the year, and reports any significant deviations to management with analysis detailing the cause for the deviation and corrective action(s) necessary
  • Works with bookkeeper and reports to leadership Team member
  • Establishes and maintains all corporate policies related to accounting and budget matters
  • Analyze financial data of the organization to provide management with internal management reports.
  • Coordinates an annual budget and planning process with management to ensure long term financial and business strategies
  • Establishes, coordinates and administers a financial plan to ensure an adequate plan for internal control.
  • Provides special reporting and analysis to management as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for special projects
  • Compliance with all applicable tax requirements

Experience and Skills:

Bilingual or multilingual preferred. At least five years of similar experience. Must be great with computers and Apple products.
