Jose Avila is a Partner at Trembly Law Firm, where he leads the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He brings more than a decade of experience advising business owners, investors, and multinational companies on complex corporate transactions. Before joining Trembly Law, Jose practiced at top firms in New York, Chicago, and Miami, and also served as in-house counsel for a multinational payments company. His career has given him a unique perspective on both sides of the negotiating table, as well as a deep understanding of how to anticipate challenges, manage risks, and streamline the transaction process. Jose also has significant experience in international arbitration and litigation, representing clients in both English and Spanish across a variety of forums.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Jose is especially skilled at advising clients with global interests and cross-border deals.
