The Trembly Law Team – Experienced Miami Business Lawyers


In the South Florida legal community, Brett is a former President of the South Miami Kendall Bar Association and former Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar 11th Circuit Grievance Committee 11 “I.” He also volunteers on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Mentoring Program, the Dade-County Bar Associations Rainmakers Committee, and annually volunteers for Miami-Dade County’s Ethical Governance Day. Brett has also been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Florida for the past three years.

Brett also maintains his leadership emphasis and is strongly committed to giving back, serving as Past-President of the Rotary Club of South Miami, Past-President of a B.N.I. Chapter, Vice-President of the Rotary Foundation of South Miami, Inc., as a Director of the Palmetto Bay Business Association, a member of the Pinecrest Business Association, an American Ninja Warrior alum, and Moderator for his E.O. forum. Rachel Abreu, a native of Miami, serves as the Firm’s office manager. She is a veteran of law practice, having started her career in the Municipal Bonds Department at Greenberg Traurig, before working for over a decade at Muller, Mintz, Kornreich in the Labor and Employment department.  During a hiatus to raise her two children, Rachel owned and operated a local Cookies By Design franchise and enjoyed substitute teaching at Florida Christian School.

Helbert Canales-Rojas, our longest tenured employee, is a rising second-year law student at the Florida International University—College of Law, and serves as one of the firm’s law clerks. Helbert is a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and is currently ranked within the top 20% of his class.  Helbert obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the Honors College at Florida International University. During his undergraduate career, Helbert was the recipient of several scholarships and several Dean’s List awards, including being nominated to the Honors College Dean’s Citizenship list for his for his outstanding community service efforts. 

Helbert enjoys helping others and channels his interest in doing so while attending to the needs of our clients at the Trembly Law Firm. After working for the National Parkinson Foundation for over five years, Jose Benitez recently joined the Trembly Law Firm as their new Administrative Assistant. Another local Miami product, Jose graduated from Coral Gables High, and then received his paralegal certification from Florida International University. These credentials led Trembly Law Firm to hiring Jose right away to get him started in the legal profession.

A recent graduate from Miami Dade College with a degree in business administration, Tiffany Conrado brings a passion of marketing and customer service to the Trembly Law Firm. Before joining the team at Trembly Law Firm, Tiffany worked at a title company, where her day-to-day tasks involved building and maintaining relationships with lenders, real estate agents and their clients. In her free time, Tiffany loves to read and teach her son to love the outdoors.

Christian E. Rodriguez is an experienced business and litigation attorney who has handled cases in state and federal courts and arbitrations. He has handled numerous cases from inception to verdict and has also handled appeals before Florida’s Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal. He is admitted to practice in Florida and is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida.

Christian was born and raised in Miami. He graduated with honors from Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida. After law school, he obtained a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Real Property Development at the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables.

Christian’s skills and capabilities as an attorney have been recognized by the legal community—specifically, in 2016 he was recognized by the Dade County Bar Association as one of the top 3 attorneys under the age of 40 in the “Legal Luminaries” awards. He was also selected by his peers to the “Rising Stars” list for 2017 by the prestigious Super Lawyers publication. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Dade County Bar Association, South Miami Kendall Bar Association, and Miami Lakes Bar Association. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Christina, and his family.

A student at Miami Dade College, Sarah is currently studying political science and aims to become an attorney in the future. Before working at the Trembly Law Firm, Sarah worked as a virtual assistant for a small prop-making business, in which she maintained close client relationships, and created and preserved an incredible customer service experience.  Outside of the office, Sarah loves to go to rock concerts and also enjoys caring for animals in need.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Alfonso is currently studying economics at Florida State University and is a member of the honors program. Alfonso maintains the position of assistant sports editor of the student-run school newspaper—the FSView. Once graduated from Florida State, Alfonso hopes to attend law school and eventually become an attorney. With intentions of gaining experience in the legal field and understanding the many facets of a law firm, Alfonso is an intern at the Trembly Law Firm and is the second member of the Flores family that the Trembly Law Firm has been honored to work with.

Juan Carlos Ramos, Esq., Of Counsel

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, JC graduated with Honors from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez with a degree in Business Finance. JC was named to the Dean’s List and was once deemed “Most Outstanding Finance Student” at the UPRM College of Business Administration. While in college, JC was part of the UPRM Varsity Basketball Team where he served as co-captain during his Senior season.

JC later attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he was part of the Intellectual Property Pro Bono and Criminal Legal Aid Clinic. After law school, he obtained a Masters in Law (LL.M.) in Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law from the University of Miami School of Law. While at UM, JC was a tutor for the Miami Executive MBA for Artists & Athletes. At Trembly Law, JC focuses on Litigation, Trademarks, and Mergers & Acquisitions. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Puerto Rico.


Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Elias had always had an interest in practicing law. After receiving his JD from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico, magna cum laude in 2002, and his LL.M. from Tulane University in Commercial Law, Elias was mentored by an experienced business attorney and since then has had a passion for working with entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes. Elias’s experience includes negotiating and structuring acquisitions of businesses, including membership interest purchase agreements and disposition of corporate assets. He has also represented clients in structuring subscription agreements and private placement memorandums. Aside from Business Law, Elias has represented clients in Chapter 11 proceedings, including debtors and creditors and has represented debtors in Section 363 asset auctions.
Elias is the chair of the General Counsel Division at the Trembly Law Firm. He assists our clients with their corporate matters, including compliance, corporate governance, employment-related issues, franchise and licensing agreements and other general contracts. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association and actively participates in the Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Puerto Rico.

Stepping into the legal field in 2001, Genevieve “Gen” Pardo started as a receptionist and quickly moved up in the legal world, becoming a legal secretary and then paralegal at a large law firm. Gen now serves as the Lead Paralegal at Trembly Law, focusing on litigation. Her favorite thing about working with business owners is their creative spirit and can-do attitude that is contagious and brings positivity to her daily workflow. She has found her passion in protecting honest business owners and helping them achieve their dreams. In her spare time, Gen loves to read horror novels and play video games with her son. Garrett Keane, is a third-year law student at University of Miami-School of Law, and serves as one of the firm’s law clerks. Garrett is a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient and a recipient of the HOPE Pro Bono Award. Garrett obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Miami. During his undergraduate career, Garrett was the recipient of the Platinum Presidential Scholarship.

Garrett enjoys all aspects of litigation and thoroughly enjoys assisting clients with all of their legal needs. Garrett was born and raised in Miami and hopes to continue serving his local community as a lawyer in the future. Garrett may be reached at


An Arizona native, Elizabeth moved to Florida in 2012 to attend school. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Florida Atlantic University and went on to obtain her certification in Paralegal studies from Florida International University. A recent graduate, Elizabeth has joined the Trembly Law Firm eager to immerse herself in the legal field and gain knowledge which she hopes to use towards her goal of becoming an Attorney. Elizabeth enjoys working with entrepreneurs because they bring something new to the table and the creativity and passion they show in their work motivates her to be the best she can be. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her daughter exploring all the incredible things Florida has to offer.


David E. Wolff is the Senior Litigation Associate at the Trembly Law Firm. Mr. Wolff received his Bachelor of Arts at The University of South Carolina, which he attended on both academic and athletic scholarship. While at USC, Mr. Wolff majored in Criminal Justice and minored in International Business. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a Finalist in the University of Miami’s Charles C. Papy Advanced Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Wolff worked at a downtown commercial litigation firm where he gained experience in all aspects of trial and appellate procedure. Mr. Wolff honed his skills within the courtroom by working as a legal extern at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he was trained by experienced prosecutors in voire dire and cross examination processes. Mr. Wolff also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge David Denkin, County Court Judge in Sarasota, Florida.

Ryan Younger – Controller

Ryan Younger serves as the firm’s Controller. Originally from Wisconsin, Ryan got his Bachelor of Science in Economics at George Mason University, where he participated on the golf team. In 2009, Ryan began work in financial administration at an employment agency in Alexandria, Virginia. After two years, Ryan and his wife purchased a bazaar in coastal Ecuador and converted it into a full-service fabric and handicraft store. He has nine years of experience and expertise at the structural, procedural, and financial levels of new and existing small businesses, and is excited to contribute his know-how to help the firm achieve its aspirations.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and playing with his daughter.

Arturo L. Arca – Business and Franchise Law Partner

Arturo L. Arca is a Partner of the Business and Franchise Law division of the firm. Arturo spent many years representing foreign and domestic corporate clients and individuals in employment and business disputes such as merger and acquisition litigation, debt collection, breach of contract, non-compete and confidentiality agreements, fraud and fraudulent transfer claims.  In December 2015, Arturo’s article Nike: Just Do It, Unless You Have a Noncompete was published in the online legal publication,  Prior to pursuing his legal career, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Florida International University and consistently cultivated his passion for service. In his spare time, Arturo is an entrepreneur with interests in a nutrition and software company, an avid traveler, enjoys recreational sports and spending time with his pet terrier, Salome.

Mayra Hernandez, Junior Litigation Paralegal

Originally from Texas, Mayra moved to Miami in 2017. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland University College and served in The United States Army from 2004 to 2010 as an Automated Logistical Specialist. She finished her contract with the military to raise her children and accomplished her college degree. Having moved to various countries to follow her husband’s military career, she now can focus on being an asset to the Trembly Law Firm. Mayra enjoys running, cooking, spending time with her three kids and enjoying the city of Miami.

Daniela Lledes, Receptionist

A student at Miami Dade College, Daniela is currently studying health law and aims to become an attorney in the future. Before working at the Trembly Law Firm, Daniela worked at a busy restaurant establishment where she maintained high standards of customer service during fast-paced operations. With her fun and upbeat personality, Daniela makes sure each client who contacts the Trembly Law Firm has a wonderful experience. Outside of the office, Daniela enjoys outdoor activities like camping and kayaking, and loves trying new kinds of food.

Cergie “Cei” David, Marketing Assistant

Cergie, or Cei to most people, is the firm’s Marketing Assistant. Cei received her Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, a state university. Before joining the Trembly Law Firm, she had worked as a Content Writer/Copywriter for a multinational impact investing company and as a Support Staff for a BPO company. She is a total bookworm, a self-taught baker, and a big foodie.

Will Collier, Esq., Business Law Associate

Will Collier, a recent graduate from the University of Miami School of Law, is an Associate Attorney in the Business Department at the Trembly Law Firm. Originally from Kentucky, Will got his Bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science at Union University before moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina to learn Spanish. After two years in Argentina, Will moved back to the U.S. to attend law school. In his spare time, Will enjoys traveling and has been to more than 30 countries since graduating college.
