Ezequiel J. Romero is a commercial litigation attorney at Trembly Law Firm with more than a decade of experience representing financial institutions, mortgage loan servicers, real estate investors, technology companies, and other businesses in complex disputes throughout Florida’s state and federal courts.
Ezequiel represents clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including complex business disputes, breach of contract claims, real property litigation, and consumer finance litigation. He also has extensive experience defending businesses in class action and individual lawsuits involving federal consumer protection statutes, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). He approaches each matter with a business-minded perspective, helping clients assess legal risk, identify practical solutions, and develop litigation strategies that advance their broader business objectives. Recognizing that litigation is often one component of a larger business decision, Ezequiel focuses on delivering efficient, strategic counsel tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
In addition to his legal practice, Ezequiel is deeply committed to serving the legal profession and the South Florida community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Cuban American Bar Association, where he chairs the Membership Committee, and is an active member of The Florida Bar’s Business Law Section.
Ezequiel earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
