Elias Correa Menendez Named Partner at Trembly Law Firm

Miami, Florida (July 1, 2018) — Elias Correa Menendez, Esq., who joined the Firm in August of 2017 as Chairman of the Business Law Department, has been named Partner at Trembly Law Firm.  The Firm’s Business Law Department saw immediate and rapid growth after Mr. Correa Menendez assumed control of the department.  As recently as May of 2018, Mr. Correa Menendez and his team settled a high-profile shareholders’ dispute. Prior to that, Mr. Correa Menendez handled several acquisitions by a McDonald’s franchisee, and helped majority shareholders of a closely held company avoid a takeover.

Mr. Correa Menendez’s experience includes negotiating and structuring acquisitions of businesses, including membership interest purchase agreements and disposition of corporate assets. He has also represented clients in structuring subscription agreements and private placement memorandums. Aside from Business Law, Elias has represented clients in Chapter 11 proceedings, including debtors and creditors and has represented debtors in Section 363 asset auctions.

Mr. Correa Menendez is a member of the Federal Bar Association and actively participates in the Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Correa Menendez’s experience, results-oriented strategies, advocacy skills and professionalism are undoubtedly assets not just to the firm, but to the legal community as well.  Mr. Correa Menendez will continue to chair the Business Department at the Trembly Law Firm as Partner.
