The Trembly Law Team – Experienced Miami Business Lawyers


In the South Florida legal community, Brett is the President of the South Miami Kendall Bar Association and the Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar 11th Circuit Grievance Committee 11 “I.” He also volunteers on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Mentoring Program, the Dade-County Bar Associations Rainmakers Committee, and annually volunteers for Miami-Dade County’s Ethical Governance Day. Brett was also recently named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Florida.

Brett also maintains his leadership emphasis and is strongly committed to giving back, serving as Past-President of the Rotary Club of South Miami, Past-President of B.N.I. Superior, Vice-President of the Rotary Foundation of South Miami, Inc., is a Director of the Palmetto Bay Business Association, a member of the Pinecrest Business Association, an American Ninja Warrior alum, and recently was selected for the E.O. Rachel Abreu, a native of Miami, serves as the Firm’s office manager. She is a veteran of law practice, having started her career in the Municipal Bonds Department at Greenberg Traurig, before working for over a decade at Muller, Mintz, Kornreich in the Labor and Employment department.  During a hiatus to raise her two children, Rachel owned and operated a local Cookies By Design franchise and enjoyed substitute teaching at Florida Christian School.

Helbert Canales-Rojas, our longest tenured employee, is a rising second-year law student at the Florida International University—College of Law, and serves as one of the firm’s law clerks. Helbert is a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and is currently ranked within the top 20% of his class.  Helbert obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the Honors College at Florida International University. During his undergraduate career, Helbert was the recipient of several scholarships and several Dean’s List awards, including being nominated to the Honors College Dean’s Citizenship list for his for his outstanding community service efforts. 

Helbert enjoys helping others and channels his interest in doing so while attending to the needs of our clients at the Trembly Law Firm. After working for the National Parkinson Foundation for over five years, Jose Benitez recently joined the Trembly Law Firm as their new Administrative Assistant. Another local Miami product, Jose graduated from Coral Gables High, and then received his paralegal certification from Florida International University. These credentials led Trembly Law Firm to hiring Jose right away to get him started in the legal profession.

A recent graduate from Miami Dade College with a degree in business administration, Tiffany Conrado brings a passion of marketing and customer service to the Trembly Law Firm. Before joining the team at Trembly Law Firm, Tiffany worked at a title company, where her day-to-day tasks involved building and maintaining relationships with lenders, real estate agents and their clients. In her free time, Tiffany loves to read and teach her son to love the outdoors.

Christian E. Rodriguez is an experienced business and litigation attorney who has handled cases in state and federal courts and arbitrations. He has handled numerous cases from inception to verdict and has also handled appeals before Florida’s Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal. He is admitted to practice in Florida and is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida.

Christian was born and raised in Miami. He graduated with honors from Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida. After law school, he obtained a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Real Property Development at the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables.

Christian’s skills and capabilities as an attorney have been recognized by the legal community—specifically, in 2016 he was recognized by the Dade County Bar Association as one of the top 3 attorneys under the age of 40 in the “Legal Luminaries” awards. He was also selected by his peers to the “Rising Stars” list for 2017 by the prestigious Super Lawyers publication. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Dade County Bar Association, South Miami Kendall Bar Association, and Miami Lakes Bar Association. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Christina, and his family.

A student at Miami Dade College, Sarah is currently studying political science and aims to become an attorney in the future. Before working at the Trembly Law Firm, Sarah worked as a virtual assistant for a small prop-making business, in which she maintained close client relationships, and created and preserved an incredible customer service experience.  Outside of the office, Sarah loves to go to rock concerts and also enjoys caring for animals in need.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Alfonso is currently studying economics at Florida State University and is a member of the honors program. Alfonso maintains the position of assistant sports editor of the student-run school newspaper—the FSView. Once graduated from Florida State, Alfonso hopes to attend law school and eventually become an attorney. With intentions of gaining experience in the legal field and understanding the many facets of a law firm, Alfonso is an intern at the Trembly Law Firm and is the second member of the Flores family that the Trembly Law Firm has been honored to work with.

JC Ramos, Esq., Litigation and Trademarks

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, JC graduated with Honors from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez with a degree in Business Finance. While in college, JC was named to the Dean’s List and was deemed “2012’s Most Outstanding Finance Student” at the UPRM College of Business Administration.
JC later attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he was part of the Intellectual Property Pro Bono and Criminal Legal Aid Clinic. After law school, he obtained a Masters in Law (LL.M.) in Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law from the University of Miami School of Law. While at UM, JC was a tutor for the Miami Executive MBA for Artists & Athletes. He is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico.


Will Collier, a third-year law student at the University of Miami, serves as one of the firm’s law clerks. Originally from Kentucky, Will got his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science at Union University before moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to learn Spanish. After two years in Argentina, Will moved back to the U.S. to attend law school. At UM, Will is involved with the International Moot Court program and will compete in an international arbitration themed competition in Buenos Aires in September. In his spare time, Will enjoys traveling and has been to more than 25 countries since graduating college. At the Trembly Law Firm, Will assists the legal team by conducting legal research and helping to prepare documents for court.
